The Good News is that you don’t have to pretend any more! You don’t have to pretend that you are straight. You don’t have to pretend that you have things under control. And you don’t have to pretend that the Bible really doesn’t say anything against gay sex. You don’t have to pretend that you’re not a sinner. Pretending is a lot of work, especially if you have to do it all the time. And it has other drawbacks as well. It keeps us from forming genuine, deep relationships.
